A list is provided for families in need of shelter and a safe place to stay warm. The list includes local shelters and resources offering emergency housing and cold-weather support. United Way Warming Shelters

  • Nashua: The United Way of Greater Nashua leads volunteer efforts for the City's Overnight Warming Station at the former Elm Street Middle School, running nightly to provide essential shelter and connect guests to services.

  • Manchester: The Granite United Way supports Manchester's warming efforts, including the Beach Street Warming Center, which opens during extreme cold, offering snacks, a safe space, and connections to other resources.

  • Willand Warming Center (Somersworth/Dover/Rochester): This center opens during life-threatening cold snaps and provides emergency overnight shelter with harm-reduction approaches, coordinated by local emergency managers.
